Capcom opened up Tokyo Game Show 2018 with a new Devil May Cry 5 trailer featuring Dante, a short reveal of the third and new protagonist, and a bunch of goodies if you pre-order the game before its release on March 2019.
First of all, if you were wondering that years might have caused Dante growing tired of demon hunting, you can rest assured it’s not the case. Ebony & Ivory, a massive motorcycle and even a demonic form are now part of his arsenal, along with a new cool set of moves and enemies to high rank scores with.
Lady and Trish are also joining the fight along with Nero and Nico, but the unknown third protagonist, V, also had a starring moment at the end of the trailer. We still don’t know much about him, aside from the fact that he chooses to wear sandals amidst horrific demons, but we can rest assured we’ll be seeing more from him in the following months.
Devil May Cry 5 will release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One next year, March 8. The first details about the Deluxe Edition are already available, featuring 4 Devil Breaker weapons for Nero’s arm, Live Action cutscenes, tracks from the Devil May Cry series and more.
