Sukeban Games releaved N1RV Ann-A, the sequel to the mix of cyberpunk elements with bartending visual novel VA-11 Hall-A, coming to PC, PS4 and Switch on 2020.
Set far from the city of the first game, players will now play Sam’s story, a bartender living in Saint Alicia. The events involve a similar landscape as Glitch City, introduced as an artificial island, a romantic partner who leads a small Yakuza family, and a 8-year-old son.
The game has been in development for “about nine months”, as stated in Sukeban Games’ site. They also mentioned Next Game, their ongoing “biggest project to date”. While we’re still away from seeing gameplay footage, the studio made very clear that it will be a priority, especially considering N1RV Ann-A won’t be around us until 2020.

“Most games use a big-picture perspective, but what made VA11 HALL-A special was its focus on the characters and their problems,” said Christopher “Kiririn51” Ortiz, co-founder of Sukeban Games stated. “It’s about getting to know people on a personal level, this time with a shiny new location, more options for drink orders, and more ways to relate to customers.”
Sukeban Games recommend everyone to visit the game’s site for more information, and as always, don’t forget to give the developers a follow on Twitter.
