Reigns: Game of Thrones Releases on October

Finally, a chance to prevent The Red Wedding.

Nerial and Devolver Digital announced a partnership with HBO to bring Reigns: Game of Thrones onto PC, Android and iOS devices this October. The game will cost $3.99 USD and it’s already available for pre-order.

During this traffic period of time without new episodes coming out, the tinder-like experience of Reigns will soon arrive to Westeros. Players will be able to claim the throne with Cersei Lannister, Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister, Sansa Stark and others, while also changing between kings and setting new paths for legacies to come.

Oh, the reveal trailer is really good, don’t miss it:

Along with the announcement, Devolver Digital stated that the story will go beyond what we know from the TV series. Instead of following the main story, you’ll get the chance to alter outcomes and make your own decisions inside the universe. Nothing has been said about preventing the Red Wedding, though. I’m sorry.

If you somehow missed Nerial’s “swipe ’em up”, you can now find that experience in both Reigns and Reigns: Her Majesty, in which you’ll inherit the throne and make decisions that will forever change your kingdom, based upon statistics meter such as the church influence, your economy or the army. Instead of getting involved in a complex RPG, you only need to swipe cards left or right to keep the story going.

Reigns: Game of Thrones is just around the corner. Make sure to visit the official site for more information, and don’t forget to follow the devs on Twitter.
