Armello Brings Tabletop Strategy to Switch on September 27

Conquer the throne, surpass your foes.

League of Geeks is taking their tabletop kingdom ruling strategy game Armello to Switch on September 27. Pre-orders are already available for both the Standard and Complete editions, the later including additional playable characters, hero skins, a premium dice pack and more.

Armello has been compared to Game of Thrones several times since its initial launch in 2015, and it’s more than just a coincidence. In dynamic matches, players make use of a character from a clan (Bear, Rabbit, Rat, Wolf, and Bandit) and need to tackle the throne to begin a new hierarchy. What makes it distinct is that everything is part of a table top game, making use of dices and cards to aid you in combat and slowly approach to victory.

In each game, you’ll be facing three opponents, either controlled by the AI or online players. How will you take control of the throne? Which strategy will you use to try to guess your enemies’ movements? There’s a lot to unpack in Armello, but there is always something new in every match to keep things entertaining.

League of Geeks’ strategy game will be available September 27 on Switch in two editions. The Complete Edition includes the four Bandit Clan heroes, eight additional playable characters from the “Usurpers” and “Rivals” hero packs, two alternative board skins from the “Seasons” pack, and cosmetic items. Armello is set for $19.99 USD while Armello: The Complete Edition is $39.99 USD. Make sure to visit the eShop page for more information, and don’t forget to give the studio a follow on Twitter.
