Planet Alpha Releases September 4th For All Platforms

Check out the brand new trailer focused on survival.

Planet Alpha Game Studio and Team17 finally revealed the official release date of Planet Alpha, a side-scrolling platform adventure game coming on Switch, Xbox One, PS4 and PC on September 4th.

Originally revealed back in March, Planet Alpha has been one of my most anticipated games of the year. In a gameplay style that can match games like Inside in terms of the world-building around the character moving along with a 2D camera, and with the premise of being able to manipulate day and night cycles in an alien world, this is certainly an adventure to look forward to.

You can check out the latest trailer below:

While the first trailer back then focused almost solely on showcasing the environments and the general aesthetic of this unknown planet, the latest is focused purely on survival and the sense of danger that lurks in every corner. A giant metal claw, bugs that take the entire screen and what appears to be the world itself collapsing will be only a few.

Make sure to visit the official site for more information, and don’t forget to follow both the studio and Team17 on Twitter.
