MidBoss announced that 2064: Read Only Memories Integral, a definitive edition of the cyberpunk narrative adventure, is coming exclusively to Switch on August 14. Integral will include a new jukebox feature and a “Punks” side story, all wrapped up in a remastered in-engine for the console.
This new side story will be seamlessly integrated into the game, but that’s not all. 2064: Read Only Memories Integral showcases video clips from the cutting room floor, a jukebox with never-before-heard tracks as well as all of the voice acting, and a few improvements since its initial release. There’s a new trailer, too:
The main story is set on following Turing, who claims to be the world’s first fully sapient ROM (Relationship and Organizational Manager) on an investigation after the disappearance of their creator. The relationship we get with Turing will be based solely on our decisions, along with facing point-and-click puzzles and mini games while uncovering the story.
2064: Read Only Memories Integral is set in the city of Neo San-Francisco, filled with a cast of pretty unique characters and featuring voice actors such as Melissa Hutchison from The Walking Dead and Adam Harrington from The Wolf Among Us and Middle Earth: Shadow of War, among others.
After selling over 200,000 copies across PS4, Xbox One and PC, it was only a matter of time for 2064: Read Only Memories to arrive on Switch. Pre-orders are already available with a 10% discount until launch, and the final price will be $20.64 USD, supporting English with full audio and Japanese with a text-only localization.
