Flying Oak Games, studio behind the stylish and addictive NeuroVoider, announced Boo! Greedy Kid, their latest project that is set to release in February 22 for Steam. Travel alongside a boy who will stop at nothing to obtain a soda from a vending machine, using stealth and your own voice (optionally) to sneak through and scare your neighbours.
Oh, and you can also use your twerking abilities to distract people in the way. There are 100 enemies packed with all kinds of characters, including cops, who will try to stop your greedy madness at all cost. Following the ground base of Neurovoider, the game features an incredibly detailed pixel art style and a very retro feel.
Boo! Greedy Kid was born during Global Game Jam 2013 in Nancy, France. After the launch of NeuroVoider, a twin-stick shooter RPG featuring local co-op, on pretty much all platforms to date, the developers behind the studio Thomas Altenburger and Florian Hurtaut decided to take their small project to a whole new level.
Along with the huge amount of levels, Boo! Greedy Kid will come packed with a Level Editor since day one with official Steam Workshop support.
The boo-ing and soda-chasing simulator will be available for $3.99 USD, available on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Make sure to visit the official site for more information about the studio and their projects to date, and don’t forget to follow them on Twitter.
