Xyla Storm is a neurodivergent Japanese-Mexican artist. An outcast and daydreamer from childhood, she prefers music and make-believe over the chatter of social gatherings. When not drawing (or resting), she likes to make necklaces, play indie videogames, write bizarre essays about controversial topics, and read well-written books by other women of color. Her work often portrays themes of failure and otherness, calling upon her own experiences.
