Mouldy Toof Studios and Team 17 are bringing The Escapists: Complete Edition to Switch later this year, featuring 15 prisons to escape from, all DLCs to date and a bonus map never released on console called Fhurst Peak.
This sandbox leads you to command a series of units that will do everything on their disposal to break out from prison, including getting a prison job or doing favours with inmates in order to obtain funds, trade tools, craft supplies and more. If you ever dreamed on spending your days as a gardener in prison in order to get a cup of molten chocolate to use as a weapon, this might be the game for you.
Along with all prisons available, The Escapists: Complete Edition will include a bunch of DLC packs: Alcatraz, Escape Team, Duct Tapes are Forever, Santa’s Sweatshop and Fhurst Peak Correctional Facility, which was previously exclusive to PC.
The Escapists has been previously released on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4 and mobile devices, while the sequel was released on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch early this year, so it was a given that the first game was also coming to Nintendo’s console.
