Resident Evil 2: First Claire Redfield Screenshots Revealed

More details about the upcoming survival horror revisit.

Capcom has been focused on showcasing the new take on Leon Kennedy for Resident Evil 2, but now it’s Claire Redfield’s turn with a new batch of images just in time for Gamescom.

In the screenshots, Claire is showcased in the first moments of the game entering Raccoon City Police Station in search of her brother, Chris. In there she finds Sherry Birkin, a young girl abandoned in the underground area beneath the station, and find themselves facing the well-known boss ‘G’. The screenshots look daunting, once more pointing out the level of detail being done for the remake.

You can also watch the latest gameplay from Gamespot below from E3, although it’s safe to assume we might be getting new footage from Gamescom in the following days.

Capcom’s remake of the iconic entry of the series will be releasing for PS4, PC and Xbox One (with PS4 Pro and Xbox One X support) on January 25th. Make sure to visit the official site for more information, and don’t forget to follow Capcom on Twitter for the latest news from inside the event.
