GRIS is a Painting-like Narrative Adventure Coming to PC and Switch

A breathtaking picture in motion.

Nomada Studio and Devolver Digital revealed GRIS, an upcoming side-scrolling narrative game set to release on both PC and Switch later this year.

The story sets us in an unimaginable world where things like danger, death or frustration are out of the equation. Taking part of the young protagonist, each area will unveil more about each environment surrounding the place, and players will get to traverse through it by solving puzzles, platform sections and additional challenges based on skills obtained in the adventure.

Both companies have been teasing this new game for quite some time on Twitter, and if you paid attention to the comments, some people were figuring out it was all about GRIS. The project has been in development for years, being built by a studio of graphic designers and artists from Barcelona, Spain. Adrián Cuevas and Roger Mendoza met artist Conrad Roset on the city, and the project slowly came to life throughout this period of time, integrating the composer Berlinist to the team as well.

There isn’t an official release date yet, but GRIS is expected to release on Late 2018 for PC and Switch. Make sure to visit the official site for more information, and don’t forget to follow both Nomada Studio and Devolver Digital on Twitter.
