Bedtime Digital Games is finally exploring the Switch’s inner self with the release of Figment in June 28, a whimsical hand-drawn experience set in a unique take of the human mind.
The game was initially released for PC on late September 2017, introducing Dusty in an action-adventure game with a strong focus on music and rhythm in every corner. I’m not kidding: expect to see trumpet trees, piano houses and singing bosses.
The Freedom Isles, Clockwork Town or the ominous Pathways are only a few of the locations in Figment, and each one of them answers to a different part of the human brain. What happens when a nightmare arrives at the place and starts causing trouble? That’s when Dusty comes in, fighting against enemies and solving different puzzles to recover the courage that’s been lost.
And I don’t know about you, but I can’t get over the amazing art style. Everything has been hand-drawn, and the animations get together to react with the music and sounds in every level. If you’re an aficionado of dynamic soundtracks, don’t miss this out.
Figment comes out for Switch on June 28, but you can play the demo on Steam ahead of release. Make sure to visit the official site for more information, and don’t forget to follow the devs on Twitter.

I hadn’t heard of this game! Thanks for letting us know about the demo. I was only mildly interested when I started playing it but was bummed once it was over! I’m thinking I need this for the Switch.
