Dead Cells Will Be Released From Early Access on August 7

Prepare to respawn a lot.

Motion Twin announced that Dead Cells is finally coming out from Early Access on Steam, along with simultaneous release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch this August 7th. People who pre-order the game on consoles can get a -20% off, available only until launch day.

Reaching almost 1 million copies sold on PC during its Early Access period, Dead Cells will include all sort of significant updates in the final version that came from the devs interacting with the community and listening to their feedback. The final version will include 13 levels, four bosses, over 80 weapons and skills, four main powers that unlock new areas and paths, and a Daily Run Mode with leaderboards, the last being only for PC players.

The game introduces an ever-changing castle, tons of enemies to kill and permanent boosts and abilities to unlock. As many others in the metroidvania rogue-lite mix, death is a mere excuse to go for “just one more run”, but Dead Cells has set a difference in its brawler-style combat and meaningful rewards hidden in every corner.
