Valkyria Chronicles Coming To Switch October 16th

Get those tactical senses ready.

SEGA announced that Valkyria Chronicles is coming to Switch on October 16th, a few weeks after Valkyria Chronicles 4’s arrival. In fact, anyone who purchases the upcoming entry of the series digitally will receive a -25% discount for the first game.

The modern classic tactical JRPG is finally arriving on Switch, as announced during a panel in PAX West this past week. Fans have been patiently awaiting for Valkyria Chronicles 4 release, but it’s great to know that the title who started it all will also be available not that long from now.

Here’s a short teaser regarding the announcement:

The first installment was initially released on PS3 back in 2018, but since then the game arrived onto PC and PS4 as well. The Switch version will be available digital only on both the Americas and Europe on August 16th, while Valkyria Chronicles 4 releases September 25.
