Pato Box Punches its Way Onto PS4 Next Week

If he quacks, he quacks.

Bromio, an independent game studio from Mexico, will release Pato Box on PS4 August 28th. This boxing experience starred by a fierce man with a duck head and a tale of vengeance is also available on Steam and Switch, with a PlayStation Vita release stated for September 18, featuring cross-buy.

The story sets us in the gloves of a boxer looking for retaliation, who will be busy punching his way through an evil corporation and a number of boss fights a la PunchOut. In both Story and Arcade modes, players are tasked to survive in a grim, comic-like world that is just gorgeous to see.

Pato Box was succesfully funded on Kickstarter back in April 2017, being released on Steam, itch.io and Switch since then. There’s currently a sale going on labeled as “Back 2 school” in case you want to try them beforehand. Otherwise, the game is coming out on PS4 in just a few days. Make sure to visit the official site for more information, and don’t forget to follow the devs on Twitter.
