The monster-hunting craziness of Capcom’s latest entry in the series, Monster Hunter: World, will finally descend onto PC in August 9. Both minimum and maximum system requirements have been revealed, and the port will feature 4K and 60 FPS support.
After selling 8 million units on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, PC players will finally be able to experience one of the best entries in the Monster Hunter series. Bringing a whole new set of additions that improved gameplay from its portable counterparts, a monstrous level of detail thanks to Unreal Engine and dozens of pieces of armor and weapons to craft, Monster Hunter: World is the definitive edition for newcomers and veterans of the previous games.
Since its initial release on late January, the game received tons of free content updates adding new monsters, weekly challenges and, of course, new shiny armor to craft (that’s all that matters after all.)
Capcom also announced that future updates will add new content and gameplay features, and “updates and fixes made in other platform versions will be gradually applied to the PC version”. Keep in mind that the Event Quest schedule will differ from other platforms as well, but will get regularly announced in the official social media channels.
