State Of Mind Gets a New Teaser, Releases August 16

Coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch.

Daedalic Entertainment unveiled a new teaser for State of Mind, a dystopian thriller that puts us in the eyes of a journalist, looking for the truth in a world in which humanity is contested everyday. Pre-orders are already available ahead of its release on Summer 2018 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch.

The game is set in Berlin 2048: water and air pollution are taking lives every day, drones and androids have replaced pretty much all human workforce in plain sight of the public, and surveillance has gotten out of control, with eyes in every part of the city. Richard Nolan, the main character and just one of the five people we will get to play as, is one of the few journalists criticizing this development. How far will he go?

State of Mind was initially announced in 2016 with an excellent first teaser, showcasing the atmosphere and some of the constant struggles that citizens are living with during this era. Big data, AI and a fully digitalized life are only a few of topics in the game. According to Daedalic, we can expect a 15 hours long story, written by the german author Martin Ganteföhr.

The game can already be pre-ordered on Steam and GOG with a -10% discount. Make sure to visit the official site for more information, and don’t forget to follow Daedalic Entertainment on Twitter for the latest news.
