Dream Alone Mixes Horror With Puzzles, Comes Out June 28

Switch reality and spawn clones to overcome challenges.

WarSaw Games and Fat Dog Games are bringing Dream Alone on June 28 for PC and Switch, introducing itself as a mix between horror with puzzle platformer elements.

Following the story of a young boy, players will get to traverse through all kind of locations filled with dangers at every corner. In order to survive in the game, the main character can manipulate reality to find hidden routes and avoid traps and enemies. You can also slow time and spawn clones of yourself to overcome puzzles.

The story takes an enigmatic approach to dark fairy tales, and sets itself onto a quiet village that is strucked by a strange sickness that leaves people into a coma. It’s in the moment when the main character’s parents become ill that the boy starts his journey, seeking for a sorceress that goes by the name of Lady Death, who supposedly has the cure to end this madness. Or, at least, the ability to grant powers to aid players in this obscure journey.

Dream Alone is a 2D platforming game with classic platform gameplay, and you can play it ahead of launch on PC with a free demo, downloadable here.

The game will be available on Switch and Steam on June 28. Make sure to visit the official site for more information, and don’t forget to follow Fat Dog Games and WarSaw Games on Twitter.
